Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is a native of Minsk which is the capital city of Belarus. Sergey (d.2019) played the game of ice hockey. Aryna Sabalenka is a Belarusian born May 5th 1998. Her professional career has seen her achieve twelve WTA singles titles, which includes a Grand Slam in the Australian Open of 2023. As a doubles specialist, she also has won both the US Open of 2019 as in addition to her first Australian Open of 2021 with Elise Mertens. She also achieved an incredible Sunshine Double in 2019, winning the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open with Elise Mertens. Four women's teams have achieved this achievement. World singles rankings rose again to its highest position in January 2023. As a doubles player, she was able to propel her way to the top during February of that same year following her victory in Melbourne becoming thus the second tennis player from Belarus to make it in the sport of doubles. Dmitry Tursunov, a former Russian tennis star, coached her from the 2018 season until the end and part of this season in 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was her coach for short periods between August and September of 2020. As of the year 2020's end, she's been trained by her countryman Antonio Dubrov. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova are her idols.
